Power comes from a GM LS3 V8 producing 430 HP and 424 lb-ft of torque, paired to a GM 6L80E 6-speed automatic transmission. The result is a Defender that drives like a modern vehicle with smooth power delivery, reliable performance, and true highway capability, while retaining full-time 4WD through the LT230 transfer case.
