The production of the V8 Vantage Volante was limited to just three years, 1987-1989 with only 166 of which only 58 were 'Cosmetic' V8 Vantage Volantes built specifically for the United States, Swiss and Japanese markets. These V8 Vantage Volante as with the European carbureted counterparts had a deeper front air dam, side skirt, built in rear spoiler as well as 16" Ronal road wheels. Originally built and delivered to Aston Martin franchise dealer, Palm Beach Motorcars. This V8 Vantage Volante is one the last Vantage Volante produced by Aston Martin Lagonda Limited and certainly one of the very last having been imported to the USA market. This V8 Vantage Volante was kept in its first ownership through 2010 when it was sold to its next ownership and exported to the Netherlands. At this time, it was refurbished at great expense to its current European engine and body specification with chrome bumpers and bodywork.
