1966 CORVETTE RESTOMOD - FRAME-OFF NUT & BOLT BUILD/RESTORATION -
Finished in a freshly painted black base coat clear coat with a red
hood stinger, black cloth soft top, and side pipes. Built on a
custom C7 Street Shop chassis package, powered by a GM LS3 HO 495hp
crate engine paired with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission,
HyTech hydraulic clutch system, and a titanium/aluminum
bellhousing. The LS3 setup includes a low-profile oil pan, engine
harness kit, cast iron exhaust manifolds with black ceramic
coating, a Chevrolet orange painted block, and a Street Shop
accessory drive system with 140A alternator, power steering pump,
A/C compressor, billet brackets, HD tensioner, and full stainless
hardware. It's equipped with electronic fuel injection, a stainless
fuel tank with an AE340 pump, a Dewitt aluminum radiator, an
electric fan with shroud in a black ice finish, and a side-mount
exhaust. The chassis is a C7-based setup, powder-coated semi-gloss
black, with independent transverse leaf spring suspension front and
rear, C7 upper and lower control arms, QA1 adjustable shocks,
higher-rate coil springs, tubular front sway bar, custom rear sway
bar, Flaming River rack and pinion steering, and a performance 8.8
differential with 3.55 gears and billet rear cover. Braking is
handled by a full Wilwood system with 14-inch two-piece crossed
drilled and slotted rotors, SIX-piston Aerolite calipers up front
and FOUR-piston in the rear, along with a Wilwood master cylinder,
Level 2 hydraulic assist, and complete stainless brake line setup.
The interior is fully custom with red leather seats, dash, door
panels, and carpeting. As well as LED lighting, Dakota Digital
gauges that include - (fuel, volts, speed, tach, water temp, oil
pressure, and clock), tilt column, I-did-it steering, AM/FM radio,
and power antenna. Additional features include VINTAGE AIR
CONDITIONING, shaded windshield, power steering, backup lamps,
neutral start, and E-STOPP push-button emergency brake. It sits on
STUNNING American Racing 15-spoke chrome wheels wrapped in Michelin
Pilot Sport red stripe tires, 245/35ZR19 front and 285/30ZR20 rear.
