Stripped down to metal and epoxy primed and then 2K primer, after that there is 4 coats of paint and 3 of clear. Body was done in pieces so no over spray and taped off mess. All new glass and rubber and felt channels. Brand new regulators with all new door handles inside and out and cranks. New top wood done in Ash just like original, wood brackets detailed and painted. Interior is completely done in REAL Leather, with new German weave carpet stitched with leather edges, and brown canvas above the wood between the vinyl top. New windshield in polished aluminum, with new professional glass installed, unit stills tilts out just as original and all new hardware. All new steel floors welded and done with seam sealer, painted in POR 15 and thermo/sound treated. Body sits on a new Boling Brothers chassis with triangulated four bar rear and chrome coil over shocks, Brand new complete Duchman Industries nine inch ford with 31 spline axels big bearing ends with 370 posi traction center section. 4 inch dropped front i-beam axle with hairpins and panhard bar with vega box and cross style steering, new steering joints and polished ididit column. Car stops great with all new lines, master, proportioning valve and residual valves front n rear. Disc brake front, drum rear. Car rides on steelies, front 15 by 6 and 15 by 8 rears, baby moons and trim rings all new with new firestone F560 165/ R15 fronts and BF Goodrich rears. Very detailed chassis with three coats of Black, looks fantastic underneath as on top. Engine is a 1966 283 bored .030 over, with 1957 corvette Heads n staggered bolt valve covers, very rare heads but correct for this engine size. Complete new valves, springs, viton seals and resurfaced. All new pistons, rings and bearings. Rods were checked by machine shop and crank was micro polished and drilled and tapped for harmonic balancer bolt. Melling High Volume oil pump, shaft n pickup. Intake is vintage edelbrock C3B with AVS2 500 CFM carb, absolutely correct size for this cubic inch. Dual exhaust with cermanic coated headers. 350 turbo trans done by Atlanta Performance Transmission, complete rebuild w/ shift kit and 2300 stall converter. New Denny's driveshaft connects the power train to the rear. Aluminum radiator 3 core with Maradyne fan, high volume Miladon water pump. Car really has some of the best parts money can buy, and done right. Full gauge package and everything works as it should, with indicators in dash for signals and high beam, turn signals front and back. 15 gallon fuel tank with working accurate fuel gauge, new wiring, battery and fire extinguisher. Car was built as a driver not a show car trailer queen, not Barret Jackson or Mecum level, but damn nice without the price tag. And trust me I've seen those cars up close too.
