1978 Chevrolet Corvette Indy 500 Pace Car - 350 V8 - Automatic
Here's a great opportunity to own a true piece of Corvette history.
This is an authentic 1978 Indy 500 Pace Car edition, finished in
the iconic silver and black with pace car graphics.
This car runs and drives nice and is a great driver-quality classic
you can enjoy right away.
The paint presents very well overall with only small minor
blemishes. Interior is very clean and has clearly been well kept.
The glass T-tops fit and seal properly, with the passenger side
having a crack.
It is an A/C car, the blower works, and key components are
functioning as they should. Power windows work, headlamps operate
properly, and it has tilt and telescopic steering. There is also an
aftermarket radio installed that works great.
The 350 V8 runs strong and the car drives well. There is a
noticeable exhaust leak, but nothing that stops it from being
enjoyed as-is.
This is the kind of Corvette that hits a sweet spot - collectible,
good looking, usable, and priced right. Not a perfect show car, but
a very solid example you can drive and improve over time if you
choose.
Clean title and priced extremely well for a Pace Car.
