modern performance and reliability. Powered by a 518ci tall-deck GM
engine featuring an Eagle crank, H-beam rods, Mahle forged pistons,
Howards valvetrain, aluminum heads with Milodon valves, and a Dart
intake. Equipped with a Holley Super Sniper Stealth EFI and
complete ignition, fed by a Tanks Inc. fuel tank with 400 LPH
pump.
Power is delivered through a built TH400 automatic with a 2,700 RPM
stall converter to a Ford 9-inch rear end with Tru-Trac limited
slip and 3.70 gears. Suspension includes QA1 tubular control arms
and adjustable coilovers front and rear, Borgeson high-ratio
steering, oversized sway bars, and a reinforced, refinished factory
frame.
The body has been fully restored with a media-blasted cab, new
floors, doors, fenders, hood, grille surround, and a fully rebuilt
bed with custom molded front and rear roll pans. Braking is handled
by a hydroboost system with Wilwood components, drilled and slotted
rotors, and braided lines.
Additional upgrades include an American Autowire harness, LED
lighting, projector headlights, 125-amp alternator, and a four-core
aluminum radiator with dual Derale electric fans and cab
defrost.
