GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this restored 1959 Triumph
TR3A for your consideration. Finished in stunning British Racing
Green over a rich Saddle Tan interior, this classic roadster
captures the essence of vintage British motoring. Powered by a 2.0L
inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 4-speed manual transmission,
this TR3A delivers a pure and engaging driving experience. This
example underwent a meticulous frame-off restoration down to bolt
#1, with the body mounted on a rotisserie for proper finishing. All
body panels were blasted, epoxy primed, and refinished in a
high-quality base coat clear, with the repaint completed in 2010.
The interior features a beautifully crafted custom black walnut
dash, a custom wooden shift knob, and is fully lined with Dynamat
throughout the cockpit and doors for added comfort. Additional
features include a manual choke, push-to-start ignition, electric
fuel pump, and an upgraded air cleaner with a K&N intake
filters. The interior, hood, side curtains, tonneau cover, and hood
stick cover were all sourced from The Roadster Factory, ensuring
quality and authenticity. Recent maintenance includes new rear
shocks installed just two years ago. This vehicle also comes with
extensive documentation and extra parts included in the sale. Drive
this one out of our showroom or have us assist with shipping it to
you anywhere in the United States! Don't hesitate to call us with
any questions or for more information.
The Triumph TR3A, produced between 1957 and 1962, is widely
regarded as one of the most iconic British sports cars of its era.
As an evolution of the TR3, the TR3A featured improved exterior
styling, including a wider front grille and better-appointed
interior touches, while retaining the rugged body-on-frame
construction and spirited performance that made Triumph a household
name among enthusiasts. Known for its nimble handling and
simplicity, the TR3A was a popular choice for both road and
competition use, helping to solidify Triumph's reputation in
motorsports and sports car culture worldwide.
