This is an absolutely beautifully restored 1959 C1 Corvette. Refinished in its traditional red with white coves and red interior. All the chrome was removed and redone.The frame, body, and mechanicals were all restored meticulously. The engine is an updated C4 generation 5.7l 350 cu. in. V8 with fuel injection completely rebuilt for reliability and performance, and closely matches the original power levels available in the C1’s. Transmission has been updated to a four speed with Hurst shifter. Rear end has also been matched for the power. It is a perfect mechanical blend of both power and refinement.
The interior was completely removed and professionally restored and is spotless. There are no negatives on this car. It is definitely show worthy, but is a driver, too. It truly an investment you can enjoy.
The convertible top is white and in perfect condition. The vehicle also comes with a red hard top that is in good condition. The original steel wheels and hubcaps with new tires mounted and balanced are included in addition to the aftermarket chrome wheels currently mounted.
The 1959 is the last of the 1950’s C1 model. While the ‘59 is identical to the 1960 model, and the 1961 and 1962 share similarities, it’s better to say you own a ‘50’s Corvette than the muddled ’60’s with 3 models in that decade.
