Congratulations on discovering this absolutely beautifully restored 1959 C1 Corvette. Refinished in its traditional red with white coves and red interior. All the chrome was removed and professionally re-chromed. The frame, body, and mechanicals were all meticulously restored piece by piece to better than original condition. The engine is an updated C4 generation 5.7l 350 cu. in. V8 with fuel injection completely also rebuilt for reliability and performance, and closely matches the original power levels available in the best C1’s. Transmission has been updated to a four speed with Hurst shifter. Rear end has also been matched for the power ratio. It is a perfect mechanical blend of both power and refinement.
The interior was completely removed, professionally restored from the bare frames, and is spotless. There are no negatives on this car, but has room for more restomod equity and future investment growth. It is definitely show worthy, but is a driver, too. It is truly an investment you can enjoy.
The recently replaced convertible top is white and in perfect condition. With the car always being stored inside, the roof is still in new condition. The vehicle also comes with a red hard top that is in very good condition. The original steel wheels and spin-off style hubcaps with new tires mounted and balanced are included in addition to the aftermarket chrome wheels and tires currently mounted.
The 1959 is the last of the 1950’s C1 model. While the ‘59 is identical to the 1960 model, and the 1961 and 1962 share similarities, it is the most refined 1950’s style before the muddled ’60’s with 3 models in that decade.
