Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera
Cabriolet. Finished in the stunning shade of Venetian Blue with a
navy blue convertible top over Linen Grey leather interior, this
G50 Carrera Cab has been with the same enthusiast owner since 2007.
Paint and body present to a nice driver standard - there are a few
touch-ups here and there but the body is straight and solid and the
underside looks great. 16-inch Fuchs wheels are wearing Michelins
installed in 2020 with plenty of tread remaining.
Interior, trimmed in Linen Grey (off white) is in good original
condition with light patina typical for age and mileage; all gauges
are clear and working, including the clock. A modern Blaupunkt
AM/FM/CD stereo with USB, aux input and Bluetooth is installed.
Navy blue canvas top is in excellent condition, and the rear window
remains clear and pliable. The power top mechanism functions
normally. A/C system is fully intact and powers on, but has not
been converted to R-134a and is not blowing cold.
Extensive maintenance under present ownership includes a recent
tune up (including plugs, wires, cap, rotor and coil), oil lines,
valve adjustment, valve cover gaskets, complete brake job with new
lines, clutch master and slave, wheel bearings, shocks, shifter
bushings, intake manifold gaskets, tires, alignment, and more. The
3.2 liter flat six pulls strong, and the G50 five-speed manual
gearbox feels great with no slop in the linkage and no crunchy
synchros.
Jack, spare, air pump, tools, owner's manual and service records
from present ownership are included with the sale. This is a nice
running and driving G50 Carrera presented in a great color. For
