Very original with some slight upgrades such as 12 volt electrical system and 3.55 rear end gears.
Everything works! The interior is perfect. Lights, heater, horn and wipers work as they should. The truck comes with an extremely hard to find radio that was made ONLY for the 1948 ford truck. Transmission was rebuilt less than 100 miles ago, as well as the rear end. The banjo rear end has been upgraded from 4.11 gears to 3.55’s. The truck purrs down the freeway at 60 mph. The suspension, shocks and steering have all been rebuilt. The engine is the original 8BA flathead V8 that came with the vehicle. It runs strong and sound.
