Classic Car Addict is here to present this 1999 Jeep Wrangler SE
for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The Jeep was purchased by
the original owner in Arizona back in November of 1998. It was then
purchased by the current consignor back in March of 2002 where it
has resided in New Mexico and back to Arizona.
The Jeep is finished in Black Clearcoat (PX8) and exterior
equipment includes a soft top, metal half doors, black side
curtains, running boards, dual side mirrors, and swing-out
tailgate. There are paint blemishes throughout notated in the
walkaround/driving video on our YouTube channel. The standard soft
top features forward latches instead of snaps, making it simple to
fold down. Before driving off-road, you can remove the doors and
fold the windshield down. Now you can feel free!
The high-back front bucket seats and fold-and-tumble rear seat are
upholstered in camel cloth and accompanied by a color-coordinated
dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include a roll bar,
cold AC, AM/FM/cassette radio, and a locking glove box. The front
cloth seats are torn; the vinyl covers are in good condition.
The two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a 6k-rpm
tachometer, and gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and
coolant temperature. The digital odometer shows 345,183 miles but
the consignor states that the engine was rebuilt at 300K miles.
The 2.5-liter inline-four was rated at 120 horsepower and 140
lb.-ft. of torque when new. Power is sent to the rear or all four
wheels via a five-speed manual transmission. You can engage
Wrangler's high-range four-wheel drive simply by shifting the
Command-Trac lever from 2H to 4H at speeds up to 55 mph.
The 15" nine-hold steel wheels are mounted with 31x10.50R15LT BF
Goodrich tires and a full-size spare is secured to the swing-out
tailgate. The truck came factory equipped with power steering.
Stopping power is provided by front power disc and rear power
drum.
