1934 Ford Hot Rod
For sale is this 1934 Ford Hot Rod vehicle. I am helping this friend/client sell this vehicle. I own a classic car restoration shop located in Gluckstadt, MS. Gluckstadt is located in Central Mississippi near the intersection of Interstate 55 and 20.
The owner is a good local guy that I have known for years. The hot rod Ford was owned by his friend of many years. That guy bought this vehicle and some others at an auction (Mecum) some years ago. The current owner secured the vehicle from that past owner in 2024. It has been driven very little in the subsequent months. Our shop did some work on the vehicle, mainly a number of suspension bushings. Lately, getting ready for the sale, we have changed fluids as needed, rebuilt the carburetor and charged the air conditioner. The mileage shows 6009, which is likely the total mileage since the restoration.
This Ford is exceptionally nice. We do not have a lot of information in respect to the build other than the shop that built it is in Texas. The car is a 1934 Ford Coupe that is all steel, riding on a custom suspension. It has a small block Chevy engine. A GM Turbo Hydramatic 350 transmission and a 9” rearend. It has a coil over suspension with rack and pinion power steering, and some 4-wheel disc brakes. The Ford drives great. The owner took it this past fall to “Cruisin the Coast”, the biggest car related cruise in the USA, where it did great in in the stop and go, long idle traffic there. The front tires are Michelin Pilot 195/55R15 and the rear tires are Michelin Energy XSE/M 235/65R17.
The interior of the car are excellent with custom upholstery, door panels, headliner and carpets wrapped dash, etc. The paint, glass, and bright work is all excellent. Overall, this is a really fine custom hot rod vehicle, that is a dependable comfortable driver.
