2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS For Sale
This 2010 Chevrolet Camaro SS is a well-sorted fifth-generation
build finished in silver with black stripes and showing only 38,000
miles. It represents the first year of the reborn Camaro, and in SS
trim with the 6-speed manual it carries the LS3 6.2L V8 rather than
the L99 that came behind the automatic the preferred combination
for owners who plan to modify. The black stripes, tinted glass, and
black 20-inch Rohana wheels contrast cleanly against the silver
paint and give the car a more aggressive presentation than the
factory appearance package alone delivers.
The LS3 has been worked over with a coherent naturally aspirated
bolt-on package. Airflow comes in through a K&N intake and
is distributed by a Holley intake manifold fed by Holley fuel
rails, with MSD plug wires on the ignition side and a Moroso catch
can managing crankcase vapors. Spent gases exit through long-tube
headers into Kooks mufflers, which gives the car noticeably more
top-end breathing and exhaust note than a stock SS without moving
the build out of street-friendly territory. Power is routed through
the factory Tremec 6-speed manual, with shifts handled by a Hurst
shifter in place of the long-throw factory unit.
Stopping power is provided by the factory Brembo brake package that
came standard on the 2010 SS, a genuinely capable setup that didn't
need to be replaced. The Rohana 20-inch wheels fill the arches
well, and the tinted windows carry the blacked-out theme into the
greenhouse. Inside, the Boston Acoustics premium audio system
remains in place, along with the SS-specific instrumentation. With
38,000 miles on the odometer, this Camaro has been driven enough to
be sorted but not enough to be tired, and the modification list
reads like an owner who understood the LS3 platform and built
around it rather than against it.
