GR Auto Gallery is excited to present this 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle
finished in a striking Silver sourced from a 2010 Camaro over a
custom Red and Silver leather interior. This build commands
attention with its aggressive stance and high-end finish, sitting
on Formula 43 three-piece aluminum wheels that perfectly complement
the modernized look. Every inch of this Chevelle has been
thoughtfully restored and customized, from the clean body lines to
the fully refinished chassis coated in PPG paint, making it as
impressive underneath as it is on top.
Power comes from a professionally built 383 small block V8 by Ohio
Crankshaft, featuring a forged crank, rods, and pistons, along with
Trick Flow cylinder heads, roller rockers, lifters, and cam. Topped
with a Weiand 250 blower and supported by Accel DFI fuel injection
and logging computer, this setup has been dyno tested at an
incredible 600 horsepower at 9 pounds of boost. Power is sent
through a Tremec TKO 600 5 speed manual transmission, delivering a
raw and engaging driving experience. Supporting components include
a PRC custom radiator, Wilwood disc brakes, and Bilstein shocks,
ensuring the car performs just as well as it looks.
Inside, the cabin has been completely reimagined with custom seat
covers, headliner, console, and door panels finished in a bold red
and silver theme. The dash has been reworked to house AutoMeter
gauges, giving it a performance focused feel, while an Ididit
steering column and custom shifter with line lock add to the driver
engagement. Modern conveniences include Vintage Air, Electric Life
power windows, and a full Alpine stereo system, blending comfort
with high performance. A complete American Autowire wiring harness
ties everything together for reliability.
Originally sourced as a shell from California, this Chevelle was
fully built and restored in Michigan, resulting in a high quality,
no expense spared build. It has even participated in two Hot Rod
Power Tours, proving it is not just a showpiece but a car built to
be driven and enjoyed. Combining forced induction power, modern
technology, and classic muscle car styling, this 1966 Chevelle is a
standout restomod that delivers on every level.
