1969 has always been one of the most desirable years for the
Chevrolet Camaro. With its sharp body lines, nimble chassis and a
number of capable V8 engine options, it is no wonder these great
classics are so widely coveted. For some, the Camaro's sporty,
light weight chassis and large engine bay make it the perfect
platform for a pro-touring or resto-mod style build. That is
exactly what we have here in this great 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. This
Camaro benefits from a recent resto-mod style build that was
recently completed in 2024 with the attention of the build having
been focused on the drivetrain. This Camaro is presented in its
current Silver exterior paint with minor defects present and some
light rust starting to bubble in the lower front fenders and lower
corners of the doors. Complimenting the Camaro's silver exterior is
its period correct cowl induction hood, factory style rear spoiler,
period correct "Camaro" and "SS" emblems, factory chrome and
stainless trim and a set of polished American Racing Torque Thrust
wheels wrapped in Fuzion HRI tires (dated 2007). The Camaro
features a factory style Black vinyl interior that benefits from a
number of updates including Dakota digital gauges, aftermarket
AM/FM stereo and Hurst shifter. Powering this awesome 1969 Camaro
is a recently built LQ9 gen IV 6.0 Liter LS V8 backed by a T56
6-speed manual transmission. Both the engine and transmission
perform just as they should and deliver a much more rewarding
driving experience than stock. The majority of the mechanical build
was carried out professionally by Modern Muscle Car Factory of
Elkhart, IN. This Camaro not only pulls harder than a stock Camaro,
it handles the road much better thanks to the upgraded, tubular
front upper and lower control arms. Helping bring this great
performing Camaro to a stop are the aftermarket power 4-wheel disc
brakes. This Camaro is nicely equipped with options such as: power
steering, power 4-wheel disc brakes, air conditioning, CVF
accessory drive kit, AM/FM stereo, Dakota Digital gauges with
in-dash tachometer, Hurst floor mounted shifter, and variable speed
wipers. If you are in the market for a first gen Camaro that runs,
drives and handles much better than stock and is sure to put a
smile on your face every time you are behind the wheel, then you
will not want to miss out on this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro.
