one-of-a-kind 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air two-door hardtop was custom
built by Pagano Rod & Custom of Rancho Cordova, CA is Finished in
stunning metallic gray, this Bel Air sits on a premium Art Morrison
chassis and delivers serious performance thanks to a GM Performance
427ci LS V8 topped with a 3.0 Whipple supercharger and intercooler.
Power is sent through a 4L80 4-speed manual valve-body transmission
to a 9-inch-style limited-slip rear end.The body has been
extensively reworked with a chopped and sectioned roof, Nomad-style
rear quarter panels, custom C-pillars, and matte-finish Buick
Riviera-style bumpers. Additional exterior details include
flush-fit door handles, body-color taillight surrounds,
matte-finish mirrors and hood ornament, and power-operated quarter
vent windows, giving this Bel Air an aggressive, high-end custom
look.Underneath, the Art Morrison chassis features adjustable
Strange Engineering coilovers at all four corners, tubular control
arms, power rack-and-pinion steering, and a 4-link rear suspension
with polished trailing arms and adjustable shock mounts. Stopping
power comes from Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes with six-piston
front calipers, slotted and drilled rotors, and braided
stainless-steel lines. KINDIG Door Handles.Rolling stock consists
of Billet Specialties wheels measuring 19 inches up front and 20
inches in the rear, wrapped in 235/40 Michelin Sport Cup 2 front
tires and massive 335/30 Pirelli P Zero rear tires. The rear tubs
were custom modified to accommodate the wide rear wheel and tire
package.Inside, the custom cabin is finished in red and gray
leather with microsuede accents throughout the front bucket seats,
split rear seats, dashboard, door panels, and full-length center
console. Luxury and convenience features include air conditioning,
power windows, push-button start, rearview camera, Alpine
touchscreen audio system, billet door handles, Wilwood pedals, and
a tilt steering column. The trunk has been upholstered to match the
interior, and sound-deadening material was installed during the
build for a refined ride.Instrumentation includes a 160-mph
speedometer, tachometer, and auxiliary gauges neatly integrated
into the dash. The replacement value of this car would be in excess
