This 1999 Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird motorcycle is powered by
a 1137cc liquid-cooled inline four-cylinder engine equipped with
PGM-FI electronic fuel injection and a Ram-Air intake system,
paired with a six-speed manual transmission. The cooling system
features a dual-stage radiator. The chassis is constructed with a
lightweight aluminum twin-spar frame. The suspension consists of
43mm cartridge front forks and a Pro-Link gas-charged rear shock.
Stopping is provided by a linked braking system that distributes
force between the front and rear. The bike's slim profile was
inspired by the Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird. The instrument cluster
combines analog and digital displays with an integrated fuel gauge.
