This beautiful Restomod Truck brings nothing but smiles, waves, honks and “thumbs up” wherever it goes. Car Show Award winner in Central Ohio over the last few years, Best-of-Show, Best Ford, etc…, (a garage full of trophies actually) sounds, drives & looks amazing. This Ford F1 went through a complete restoration build by the original Owner/Builder beginning with the frame being blasted and painted. The Builder provided a series of photos documenting the build process of creating this unique Restomod Truck. The quality of the build and overall fit & finish is what attracted me to purchase the truck in March 2023. The Viper Red paint makes this truck an attention grabber! Clean straight lines, lots of custom touches like the rear bumper, custom tail-lights and hidden tailgate cables & locks. The painted front grill with the chrome accents & emblems are really attractive. Like many Restomod Builders he chose to go with a 350ci engine for ease of installation, solid performance and overall long-term maintenance. Sorry Ford “purists” but in “Restomod World” everything and anything is possible and this truck has a great dependable engine with an automatic transmission. Although at purchase the engine was topped off with a traditional Holley carburetor, I upgraded to the new polished Holley Sniper 2 fuel injection system and went all Holley components. Inside the fuel cell a new high pressure fuel pump with stainless steel fuel lines deliver perfect performance to this V8. To top things off, new Billet air cleaner, valve covers and various upgraded components give this engine bay a show-stopping look.
Since ownership in 2023, the truck has had many, many upgrades and improvements. The oak truck bed was sanded and refinished in golden oak with a water resistant polyurethane finish. New power window kits were installed on the one-piece cab driver and passenger side windows making cruising a pleasure. The Vintage Air system provides heat & A/C as needed. Cruising in a Classic /Restomod isn’t the same without great music. The Boss touch screen system I chose & installed provides streaming from your smartphone play list, AppleCarPlay, hands-free dialing and a great rear backup camera - provides a perfect view for Car Show or garage parking. The system includes 4 in-cab speakers and a powered subwoofer under the drivers seat. The interior was upgrades to give it that Classic Hot Rod-style feel with new TMI Pro Series bucket seats with red diamond stitching. The seats allowed more leg room along with the installation of new floor pedals for driving comfort. To compliment the great looking seats, custom hand-made door panels were constructed with the same red diamond stitch pattern. A new front window was cut, tinted and installed with both windshield and rear cab glass receiving new seals. To deliver great braking performance a new Wilwood Brake Master cylinder was installed under the cab in the frame with a remote fill reservoir in the engine bay. New Wilwood drilled & slotted brakes installed upfront with slotted discs in the back - both with front & back with red calipers. A new set of American Racing 20” x 8” front; 20” x 10” rear Torq Thrust II chrome wheels were installed with NITTO NT555 tires. Only a few hundred miles on the tires & wheels. The stance on this truck with the classic truck big fenders and the 20” wheels really look awesome! Rack & pinion steering and adjustable coil over shocks provide a pleasant comfortable drive. Current mileage approximately 3,475 miles.
This Restomod F1 has received the best of everything right down to new LED headlights and its refinished oak bed. Always garaged, never out in the weather, only driven short distances on sunny days. More invested than asking price; would cost 2-3 times more to build this custom truck today. A really unique and desirable classic truck finished with up-to-date equipment & finishes. Someone’s going to LOVE this truck! Sale of the F1 includes a binder full of documents, build pictures, warranty cards, manuals, receipts & records. Seller has a clean clear title in hand. It’s ready to be enjoyed, driven and taken to car shows by a new owner… Serious inquiries only. Good Luck!
