factory-installed driveline, including its original engine and
stamping, Muncie M20 transmission with VIN stamping, and 3.73
Positraction BU-code 12-bolt rear differential. MacNeish also
certifies that the trim tag on this Z/28 is real and
authentic.Finished in Hugger Orange with white Z/28 stripes and a
black vinyl interior, just as it left the factory, this Z/28 is the
recipient of a rotisserie restoration expected to be completed by
Joe Verrillo and his team at Verrillo Motor Car in Clifton Park, NY
by June 2026.This Z/28 retains all of its factory-installed body
panels. The vehicle has been completely disassembled, and the body
was placed on a rotisserie for reconditioning. All body panels have
been aligned to better-than-factory fitment. A basecoat/clearcoat
finish has been applied, and cut and polished to a show-quality
finish.The floors are finished in GM restoration frame paint for an
authentic sheen, replicating the factory appearance as closely as
possible. They also feature a light mist of Hugger Orange, as seen
on factory-applied finishes. The floor plugs have been installed
with the correct beige seam sealer, as original.The subframe was
completely disassembled and refinished in the correct semi-gloss
black. All chassis components have been fully disassembled,
cleaned, glass-beaded, and finished in their correct factory
finishes. The front control arms are finished in 30% gloss black,
while the front springs retain a natural steel finish, and the
shocks are finished in gray phosphate. All steering components are
also finished in natural steel. The rear differential is finished
in a 60% gloss black.This car retains the factory-installed
original engine.
