When it comes to muscle cars, there is nothing quite like a
first-generation Camaro. Power, prestige, and pizazz begin to
describe this beautiful 1967 Chevrolet Camaro SS Tribute. Fully
repainted in its original Bolero Red exterior paint, this boulevard
bruiser shows off its correct SS badging and aggressive cowl hood
from any angle.
Inside, we find a nicely redone black vinyl interior. A pair of
bucket seats offers an expansive view of the open road, while this
Camaro also features a power-assisted, three-spoke steering wheel
featuring an SS center cap. Just beyond that wheel is a big 120 mph
speedometer and a matching fuel gauge. A T-bar shifter is equal
parts entertainment and grab-handle when this Pony Car really digs
in.
Under that louvered hood, we find a clean engine bay with a classic
350-cubic-inch V-8 engine. Featuring a single Holley four-barrel
Demon carburetor feeding that small block, while a FlowMaster dual
exhaust dispenses with spent gases via a set of shorty headers, and
a serpentine belt drive keeps things organized. Power gets funneled
through a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission before
heading out to the ten-bolt rear end. Polished American Racing
Torq-Thrust II wheels are shod with modern rubber.
