For Sale: 1941 Chevrolet Convertible in San Pedro, California

Vehicle Description

For sale: 1941 Chevrolet Convertible (Special Deluxe Cabriolet) Only 15,296 convertibles were built, with only a handful of survivors still on the road today. The convertible model is considered highly sought after by collectors. The 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe Cabriolet was often considered the most stylish and accessorized of all 1941 models. This 1941 Cabriolet features an original rebuilt 216 cubic-inch 6-cylinder engine with a standard 3-speed transmission on the column. This 1941 beauty has been completely restored, featuring a newly painted wood grain dashboard to its original specification. The upholstery is red, as it was originally from the factory. The factory paint color is called Cameo Cream. The chrome is in excellent condition. The convertible top, made of canvas, is also in excellent condition. The engine compartment and undercarriage are powder coated and painted, and look as good as the top side.

Accessories on this 1941 include original S-3 safety spotlights, completely restored and working. These spotlights are one of the hardest accessories to find since they were only made for the 1941 Chevrolet—one year only. In addition, the front and rear fenders have chrome washboard fender guards. The car features complete wraparound bumper guards on all four corners, a working backup light, and a trunk pull-down accessory for easy access. The tires are in excellent condition—16-inch Coker whitewall tires with shark tooth hubcaps. The hood ornament is a Flying Lady accessory. The front of the car has original fog lights that work. The radio is a 6-band accessory radio. The light under the convertible top works when the door is open. The trunk compartment is in excellent condition, with a very supple rubber mat and clean, unworn side panels. The car has been converted to a 12-volt system. The original generator has been rewired, allowing the vehicle to retain the appearance of its original 6-volt status. The rear convertible top window is an accessory (not a plastic fold-down). The vehicle also includes a radiator tank overflow container, a dashboard-mounted compass, and a locking gas cap. 310-809-5395
