Motorcar Studio in partnership with JFrazar Motorcars is please to
offer this 2005 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti. Finished in Grigio Ingrid,
film director Roberto Rossellini custom-ordered this hue on a 1954
Ferrari 375MM as a gift for his wife, acclaimed actress Ingrid
Bergman (Ferrari later named the shade in her honor). Variously
described as pale metallic gold, champagne, or warm grey, this
bespoke color exudes a timeless elegance, especially on a V12 grand
tourer like the 612.
This example has been under present ownership since 2018; it
remains in excellent condition inside and out with a clean CarFax
report. But most importantly, it just received a major belt service
in March 2026 in preparation for the sale - this Ferrari is fully
serviced and ready for its next owner.
Excellent paint and body with no major flaws to note. Staggered 18-
and 19-inch five-spoke factory wheels are wearing Michelin tires.
Gorgeous interior shows very little wear; sticky buttons have been
addressed. An updated touch-screen head unit with bluetooth and
backup camera has been installed, along with aftermarket cruise
control which works perfectly. Ferrari did not offer cruise control
as an option for the 612 - but the present owner actually used this
car for extended highway trips, so he had this added soon after his
purchase in 2018. All gauges, lights, indicators, stereo and
climate functions are working normally. No warning lights or known
service needs.
Under the hood is a 5.7 liter V12 mated to an F1A automated manual
gearbox. Rated at 533 horsepower, this grand tourer still feels
quite fast even by modern standards. Drivetrain is stock aside from
a Supersprint exhaust, which sounds great without being too loud on
the highway (only the mufflers were changed). A major service
completed earlier this year within the last 500 miles included
timing belts and tensioners, drive belts, engine oil, gearbox oil,
brake flush, and a new thermostat. Water pump and spark plug wires
were inspected. Battery was replaced in 2024. At the most recent
major service, clutch degredation index (CDI) was 3112 and clutch
wear was recorded at 31.85 percent (meaning there is LOTS of life
remaining in the clutch of this F1 gearbox).
Candidly, we prefer cars that have been driven and serviced as to
opposed ones sitting for long periods. This 612 has been driven
regularly (12,000 miles over the last eight years) and has always
been well maintained. With the major service just completed, this
car is fully prepared for its next owner to enjoy. Included with
the sale are the original books, tools, and comprehensive records
from present ownership. For more information about this 2005
