1977 Chevrolet K10 4X4 Cheyenne Short Bed.
Michael DeAngelo a military veteran of Bristol Connecticut ordered this Chevy from
The A&C Motor Company of Plainville Connecticut on January 21 1977.
Mike ordered this truck Russet Metallic w/ a Mandarin orange interior.
He took delivery on March 30 1977. Michael passed away in 2022.
He cherished his Chevy K10 for over 45 years.
The paperwork on this truck is phenomenal.. Original dealer paperwork including
the New car order form, Dealer invoice, Copy of the original title, Loan agreement,
Warranty Card, ECP Corrosion protection paperwork, Owners manual, Dealer packet,
Mike kept a diary in 3 small notepads of every single thing he ever did to his truck..
He also kept every single receipt from day 1.
Around 2018 Mike decided it was time to give his prized position a new lease on life.
He started buying the parts necessary. Mike and his body shop friends took the truck apart.
He purchased a Brand new Jasper engine and detailed and installed it.
They gave the truck an honest paint job. He drove it for the last couple years of his life.
After Mike's passing the family sold the truck to a good friend of mine in 2024.
This particular friend is let's say "Very Fussy".. The truck deserved a quality frame up restoration..
Which is exactly what it got.
The truck was taken down to bare metal, With a Flawless Body, Great Lines & Killer Russet Metallic Paint applied,
The Chrome Bumpers, Wheel opening molding, Chrome Grill & Trim are all beautiful. You can eat off the inside of the bed..
The factory rally wheels are excellent with new Goodyear radial tires. Original tinted glass, Dual fuel tanks, Tow hitch.
The interior is to die for.. Just Awesome.. From the carpet to the headliner just perfect..
A professionally installed Sony sound system brings on the tunes. Full seat belts,
Power Windows & Locks, Gauge Package.
Under the very tidy hood is the Jasper 5.7 Liter V8 engine purchased in 2020 that has around 2000 miles on it.
Still dressed with exhaust manifolds.. Chrome lid air cleaner, Jack is properly stored under the hood..
Automatic Trans, Dual exhaust, Power Steering & Power Disc Brakes. Locking Differential &
Optional engine oil cooler.
The undercarriage of this truck is super clean. The truck had the ECP corrosion protection from new.
I had the pleasure of driving this truck all day Sunday with a couple of my grandkids,, We had a blast!!
The truck gets more attention than a damn Chevelle.. Everything works exactly as it should.. licensee plates are display only. I am not sure what it would take in today's dollars to duplicate this truck.
