In September 2007, the model year 2008 911 Turbo Cabriolet of the
997 generation was introduced to the market. Like the Coupe that
preceded it, the Turbo Cabriolet is powered by a 3.6-liter
twin-turbocharged flat-six engine producing an impressive 480
horsepower. It even achieves 0-60 mph in just 3.5 seconds, as
quoted by Porsche, with the Tiptronic S, the quickest available
transmission.
The Cabriolet's performance closely mirrors that of the Coupe. In
keeping with its open-top character, it is equipped with a
three-layer fabric soft top that can be opened or closed in just 20
seconds, and can be operated while driving at speeds of up to
approximately 30 mph.
Finished in elegant and timeless Meteor Grey Metallic with a black
Cabriolet top over a Stone Grey full leather interior, this Turbo
Cabriolet was completed in July 2008. It is equipped with a number
of desirable options, including the Tiptronic S transmission, the
sought-after carbon package, a multifunction three-spoke steering
wheel, heated seats, floor mats in matching interior color, and
deviated stitching, among a broader range of standard features
designed to enhance comfort, usability, and refinement-hallmarks of
the Porsche experience. A detailed equipment list is available in
the file.
Its clean CARFAX Report, available for review, indicates that the
car was delivered new through Pepe Auto Group (now Porsche White
Plains) in White Plains, New York, where it was serviced in
alternation with Mercedes-Benz of White Plains through 2011, at
approximately 5,000 miles.
The car was then relocated to Southern California, where it
continued to receive regular maintenance from around 6,000 miles in
2012 to approximately 14,000 miles in 2015. From 2017, at roughly
16,000 miles, it was consistently serviced at Porsche Hilton Head
in Hardeeville through 2020, by which time it had reached
approximately 24,000 miles.
The Turbo Cabriolet subsequently moved to Georgia, where it
received its most recent major service at European Import Services
in Suwanee at close to 37,000 miles. At the time of cataloging, the
odometer shows just 37,170 miles.
Benefiting from regular and well-documented maintenance, this
low-mileage Turbo Cabriolet is offered with its owner's manuals,
two keys, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, and the
aforementioned clean CARFAX Report.
