The 964-generation 911 is a versatile foundation for thoughtful

This 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe is finished from the factory
in eye-catching Guards Red over a black leather interior. It is a
rare non-sunroof example specified with air conditioning, seat
heating, and a Blaupunkt Bremen radio. This car was manufactured 28
November 1989 in Stuttgart, Germany and delivered new locally.
The 911 was recently entrusted to Porsche restoration specialists
AP Car Design in G�ttingen, Germany, who performed an extensive
refresh between 2022 and 2023. Highlights include a bare metal
repaint in its factory Guards Red finish, replacement of the
windshield and rear glass, and air conditioning overhaul. AP Car
Design also installed a selection of tasteful upgrades, including a
mass airflow sensor kit and exhaust turndown that increased output
to a reported 295 horsepower. The Carrera 4's handling was
optimized through a KW coilover suspension system and carbon fiber
front strut brace, and brake system enhancements that include
stainless steel brake lines and RS brake ducts. The interior was
freshly equipped with leather turbo sport seats and a Momo
Alcantara steering wheel with red stitching and a matching shift
knob cover, along with a subwoofer installed under the passenger
seat. More recently, AP Car Design fitted this 911 with Speedline
3.6-style wheels custom designed for narrow body cars, adding an
additional layer of period correct beauty.
AP Car Design capped off its extensive care of this example in
January 2025 with a full service including a valve adjustment. It
was imported to the U.S. shortly after and was acquired by the
consignor that April-being registered in Atlanta, Georgia according
to its clean CARFAX Vehicle History Report.
This rare and thoughtfully refined 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 4 Coupe
is now offered with just under 98,000 miles at cataloging. Sitting
majestically on its new KW suspension and Speedline wheels while
containing a suite of subtle yet impactful performance and cosmetic
enhancements, it is equally at home carving a favorite stretch of
winding road or arriving with head-turning presence at any curated
gathering of fellow, highly-collectable classic Porsches.
