The car
Aluminum body, Le Mans stripe package, chrome roll bar, side pipes with headers, and 15-inch Halibrand-style pin-drive wheels. The stance is pure 1960s competition muscle, compact, low, aggressive, and instantly recognizable from a hundred yards away. This is not a car that needs explaining to anyone who knows cars. A Shelby Certificate of Authenticity is included, along with Belgian Oldtimer registration dated 1965.
The chassis is the correct original-style 4-inch round tube frame with .120 wall thickness and a 90-inch wheelbase. Four-wheel independent suspension with dual A-arms and coil-overs, rack and pinion steering, and Baer disc brakes with Shelby-engraved calipers. Every major component was either factory-spec or factory option.
Under the hood
A 427 S/C V8 producing somewhere between 450 and 500 horsepower, paired with a Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual. The drivetrain runs through a Shelby aluminum differential housing with Dana 44 gears at a 3.54 ratio. A 4-core aluminum radiator and a 23-gallon fuel cell round out the mechanical picture.
The car weighs just under 1,100 kilograms. Do the math on that power-to-weight ratio and you'll understand why people talk about these cars the way they do. The big-block through those side pipes sounds like nothing else on the road.
The interior
Correct S/C dashboard layout with Signature Series Autometer gauges. A 15-inch original-style wood-rim steering wheel, leather seats, full carpeting, wind wings, sun visors and windshield wipers. Street interior options were specified at build, including a glove box and side mirrors. The cockpit is faithful to the competition spec without being uncomfortable. It's a car you can actually use.
Documentation and registration
Belgian Oldtimer registration is in place, dated 1965, with full paperwork. A Shelby Certificate of Authenticity is included confirming CSX4416 as a genuine CSX4000-series continuation. This car is offered under our consignment program on behalf of its current owner.
