The work was completed by Land Legends, a well-known Defender restoration specialist, and the vehicle was delivered to him during his time in Spain. The result is a thoughtfully upgraded Defender that avoids being overbuilt, maintaining a clean and purposeful aesthetic. Originally manufactured in October 1998 and delivered new to Spain as a 1999 model, this truck carries both provenance and presence.The exterior received a full teardown and respray in Crystal White, complemented by a black roof and matching black accents. A Masai panoramic glass upgrade enhances the cabin's openness. The stance is dialed in with a suspension lift paired to Foxx shocks, sitting on 16-inch black steel wheels wrapped in 285/75R16 BFGoodrich Mud Terrain tires.Up front, the Defender features a metal Puma hood, KBX-style grille, headlamp finishers, and wing-top intake vents. Lighting has been modernized with LED halo headlights and smoked LED marker lights, along with upgraded 95mm rear fog and reverse lamps. The exterior is further finished with black chequer plate on the lower body and rear quarters, black door and windscreen hinges, and a NAS-style rear step bumper with a 2-inch receiver hitch. The seats and door cards are trimmed in black leather with XS-style stitching, while the dash, shift boot, parking brake boot, and gauge cluster surround are all wrapped to match. The interior is accented with stainless gauge bezels, aluminum HVAC controls, alloy shift knobs, and a wood and brushed aluminum steering wheel.A custom center console sits between the front seats with an XS-pattern leather lid and integrated cup holders, designed to accommodate a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. In the rear, fold-up bench seating allows for up to nine passengers.
