by a 4.5-liter six-cylinder engine paired with a four-speed manual
transmission. This example was originally built for Mohammed V, the
former King of Morocco and, according to photos, was used as a
parade vehicle. In 1961, the car was passed down to his son, Hassan
II, before being sold to a William A. Gaston in the U.S. In 1977,
the car then joined the collection of Dr. Erle M. Heath in
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The car was then sold to Tom Barrett of
Scottsdale, Arizona, before joining the Blackhawk Collection in
1989.
