This 1991 Ford F-150 XLT Lariat is a 2WD Short Box from the pacific
NW originally and then was in Wisconsin for a few years being used
as a summer toy. We don't find these trucks in this configuration
too often, especially with a 351W V8, and this one is very original
(even has original Ford factory running boards) and really nice.
The body on this truck is clean and straight. The Wimbledon White
paint looks great and it appears to have been repainted at some
point. They installed new body moldings when it was painted and
they are close to new. The rest of the chrome and trim is original
and nice. The underside of this F150 is extra clean and we found no
rust issues with this vehicle. You can still see the factory primer
on the floors.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The original seat
looks new and it has a new headliner. The carpet, door panels, dash
and dash bezel are original and nice. The headlights, taillights,
brakelights, and turn signals are all working. The gauges all work.
This truck has tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has
working power windows and power locks. The horn and windshield
wipers work. The heat and AC are also working.
Mechanically this truck is top notch and it runs and drives
excellent. The engine is the original 5.8L 351W V8 that runs strong
with no issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be totally
stock. It recently had a new radiator, thermostat and both fuel
pump senders replaced. The transmission is the E40D Automatic that
shifts nice. We were told it was rebuilt and everything looks new
but we did not get receipt. The rear axle is the Ford 8.8 with 3.55
gears. It has newer front springs and newer upper ball joints. It
also had a new master cylinder recently. This is all sitting on a
nice set of Ford Factory wheels with 235/75/15 All Terrain
tires.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
