1964 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe, All original 4-speed manual with
very rare Factory Air Conditioning ordered in the stunning color
combination of Silver Blue with Blue interior. Life for this
Corvette started 06-16-1964 at the General Motors Corvette only
plant in St. Louis, Missouri. Per the original trim tag under the
passenger side dash this car is a late production car.
Sold at Richardson Chevrolet in Houston Texas, it was owned by the
original owner until 1993 when it was acquired by a retired couple
in Arizona who enjoyed it until 2013.
In 2013 it was purchased by a Dr. in New Hampshire who spent in
excess of $80.000 on a complete frame off restoration to achieve
the coveted National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) Top Flight
Award. This award and certification confirms that this particular
car not only has NCRS Certification but is among the best of the
best.
It is like a time capsule, still retaining all of its original
parts, L75 327 cubic inch 300 horsepower V8, M20 4-speed manual
transmission, 3.36 positraction axle ratio and one of very few
equipped with C60 factory air conditioning.
To duplicate a complete restoration as this will easily cost over
$100,000 today, and that's on top of the cost of a 1964 Corvette
Coupe that may not have the history and pedigree of this car.
