Classic Car Addict is proud to present this 1986 Chevrolet Camaro
Iroc Z28 for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The
third-generation Camaro was produced for the 1982 model until 1992.
These were the first Camaro's with factory fuel injection and
hatchback bodies. This Camaro design owed nothing to previous
generations.
Exterior:
The car is finished in black with black IROC-Z graphics. Additional
features include removable t-top roof panels, Hawks front splitter,
custom hood vents by Trackspec, Morimoto fog lights, Hawks 5 rear
spoiler, and quad LED headlights. The original exterior door
handles were replaced with custom Kindigit door handles with
wireless door locks.
Interior:
The cabin features bucket seats upholstered in black leather
(sourced from a 2001 Pontiac TA) with TMI matching door panels.
Interior equipment includes a custom Alpine head unit (Bluetooth,
Android Auto, Apple Car play), air conditioning, and center console
storage with a wireless QI phone charger. The dash has been updated
to the later 90-92 model year. The three-spoke steering wheel
frames a new Dakota Digital instrument cluster with a 145-mph
speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant
temperature, fuel level, oil temperature and voltage. The door
locks are controlled by the push lock bars.
Drivetrain:
The Camaro now features an LS1 V8 engine with an LS6 intake (new
plugs, wires, and coils). Power is sent to the rear wheels through
a T56 six-speed manual transmission with a new monster clutch and
hydraulic set up. It also features stainless long tube headers with
a three-inch dual exhaust.
Brakes:
Stopping is provided by front and rear Brembo power disc brakes
with 14-inch rotors from a 5th generation Camaro SS.
Suspension:
Underneath has been fully gone through. You have UMI subframe
connectors, UMI panhard bar, lowering springs and shocks, and UMI
spherical caster camber plates and a Detroit Speed strut brace. The
rear axle is from a fourth generation Camaro with 3.42 limited slip
LSD gears.
Wheel and tire:
The 18" C6 Corvette wheels are powder coated black and are mounted
to Continental Sport Plus tires, 245/45ZR18 up front and 275/40ZR18
out back. They are ZR rated tires with 2025 date codes.
