Vehicle Description

1964 AUSTIN-HEALEY 3000 MK2 BJ-7 SPORTS CONVERTIBLE. PEWTER SILVER WITH NEW RED LEATHER TRIM, BLACK TOP AND BOOT. 4-SPEED OVERDRIVE, CHROME WIRE WHEELS. SUPERB DRIVER. STRIKING CAR. BELIEVED 56,819 MILES.

-Recently taken as a trade-in vehicle is this stunningly attractive 3000 MK2 BJ-7 Sports Convertible. The BJ-7 was the first series convertible featuring roll-up windows, more aerodynamic wrap-around windshield, easy folding convertible soft top, while still retaining the earlier roadster interior. Power was delivered through the trusted and torquey 3000 engine with 132 bhp and an improved centershift gearbox.

-This car is wearing older but still glossy and attractive paintwork in a custom pewter/medium silver finish. It has a few touch-ups here and there. Panel fit is decent. It appears to have mostly original chromework in good condition. The Triplex windshield glass is original and looks matching to the car's recorded mileage.

-A lot of work and expense has been performed, from the previous seller, to include the following items:

-Rechromed upper grille lip. Restriped grille oval.
