Known as, “Blue My Mind” – this '69 Camaro is the ultimate pro-touring muscle car. The one-of-a-kind design puts it in a category by itself. As the original VIN number indicates this car was originally built in Norwood, Ohio as a 1969 Camaro Coupe with an 8-cylinder. It was the product of a show quality restoration utilizing high quality parts throughout. The custom body modifications include a cowl induction hood with vents, Kindig-It Design recessed door handles, 3” extended rocker panels and molded rear spoiler with quarter extensions both with 10-gauge steel. It was finished in the gorgeous color of Corvette Laguna Blue which is also called Blue My Mind. Some other exterior features includes all new glass, Detroit Speed electric headlight covers, Vision VF4 slanted oval mirrors, Anvil tucked front bumper, Fesler LED taillights, recessed billet gas cap, tucked rear bumper, molded license plate on lower valance and brushed trim. It has a killer stance on custom Bonspeed brushed wheels that are 18x10 on the front and 18x12 on the rear. The wheels are mounted to new Toyo Proxes R888R Competition Street Legal tires. The rear was outfitted with Detroit Speed mini tubs to accommodate the massive 335-30-18 rear tires. The custom interior was hand stitched with black B-Cool leather and blue accents. Some of the interior features include a Detroit Speed 4-point roll cage, Flaming River keyless start, Classic aluminum dash panel, Autometer Phantom gauges, Vintage Air Conditioning, Fesler arm rests, Clayton Machine hardware, Flaming River tilt steering column, Momo Racing Quark steering wheel, Pro Car bucket seats, full console with storage, billet shifter and German velour carpeting. The sound system consists of a Kenwood head unit, 2-Kicker amplifiers, 2-Kicker 5.25 front speakers and 2-Kicker 6x9 speakers. The boxed and carpeted trunk compartment is home to the Optima Red Top battery. The hood pivots on Ring Brothers aluminum hinges. The firewall was smoothed and the Rain Gear Wiper motor was relocated under the cowl panel. The engine bay was dressed with Van Natta Fabrication inner fenders and radiator support panel. It's powered by a GM Performance 376 LS3 V8 crate engine that is rated with 525 horsepower. It utilizes a GM computer system with American Auto Wiring. The engine was dressed with a color matched AVS Motorsports Speedcover with billet appointments, custom color matched air intake, Drive Junky billet accessory drive system, Mishimoto oil separator, Mast Motorsports oil pan, Power Master alternator and MSD starter. The engine is cooled by a custom DeWitt Direct Fit aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine breathes through ceramic Ultimate headers and a custom Schwartz Performance fabricated exhaust system. The engine is coupled to a Tremec T56 6-speed close-ratio manual transmission supplied from Bowler. It's equipped with a Quick Time bellhousing, Spicer U-joints and LS7 clutch, flywheel and pressure plate. The power is transferred to the Strange 9” Pro Nodular POSI rear end with 3.89 gears. Some of undercarriage features include power rack and pinion steering, Rick's Tank stainless fuel tank, Detroit Speed front sub-frame, Art Morrison rear sub-frame, Wilwood four wheel disc brakes and E-STOPP electric emergency brake.
