Z28 convertible for sale in our Mesa, Arizona showroom. The
fourth-generation Camaro was produced from 1993-2002 and was known
as the "Catfish Camaro". Ever since it first hit the streets in
'67, Camaro has been sending a stern message to lesser coupes; stay
home.
Exterior:
The car is finished in Arctic White and features the Arctic White
power convertible soft top, RS ground effects and a rear spoiler,
It also features power-adjustable side mirrors, aftermarket clear
taillights, and dual exhaust outlets. The car was fully repainted
in Arctic white in 2023.
Interior:
The cabin features seats upholstered in custom white and black
leather, and interior equipment includes a power-adjustable
driver's seat, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise
control, and air conditioning. The two-spoke leather wrapped
steering wheel. 155-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6k-rpm
redline. The original radio was removed and replaced with a JVC
head unit with a single CD, Bluetooth, AUX.
Drivetrain:
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was factory rated at 320 horsepower and 355
lb. ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a
rebuilt four-speed automatic transmission (4L60E) with overdrive
and a Torsen limited-slip differential. The transmission had a
fresh rebuild with less than 3K miles.
Brakes:
It features four-wheel disc brakes and is combined with four-wheel
antilock brakes (ABS) for impressive stopping power. Traction
control combined with standard ABS makes the Camaro a practical
year-round sports car, no matter what part of the country you live
in.
Suspension:
The car features a heavy-duty Torsen differential with a limited
slip rear axle, special sports suspension, and 3.23 rear axle with
positraction. Front and rear shocks have been replaced with
Bilstein performance shocks.
Wheel and tire:
The black-finished 17" wheels were sourced from a C5 Corvette and
are mounted to Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires up front P275/40ZR17,
and Sumitomo tires out back P275/40ZR17.
