Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to present this
aggressive, high-performance 1955 Chevrolet 210 2-Door Sedan. This
"Post" car is a legendary piece of Tri-Five history, originally
born in the Atlanta assembly plant as a Glazier Blue 210. Today, it
has been completely reimagined as a bold street machine, refinished
in vibrant Chrome Yellow paint. The striking exterior is accented
by black-painted bumpers and a set of classic chrome wheels, giving
it a purposeful, "tough" aesthetic that stands out in any
crowd.
The heart of this Chevy is a massive 468 cubic-inch Big-Block V8
designed for serious street duty. The engine is professionally
equipped with Edelbrock Performer RPM aluminum heads, an Edelbrock
aluminum intake, and a Holley Performance carburetor. Topped with
Dart valve covers and kept cool by an aluminum radiator with dual
electric fans, this powerhouse is built to perform. The power is
channeled through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission featuring a
2800-3200 RPM stall converter, feeding back to a GM 10-bolt rear
end with 3.73:1 gears. With traction bars already in place, this
210 is ready to hook and go.
Inside, the transformation continues with a clean, driver-focused
cabin. The original blue interior has been replaced with modern
black leatherette bucket seats and matching door trim. The dash is
outfitted with a full suite of aftermarket gauges to monitor the
big-block's vitals, and the addition of power steering ensures that
handling this much power is a manageable and enjoyable experience.
In the trunk, you will find a performance-oriented aluminum fuel
cell, further emphasizing this car's hot rod pedigree. This 1955
Chevrolet 210 is a perfect blend of iconic 50s styling and
heavy-hitting big-block muscle.
