1984 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Fleetside - 6,915 Miles - Two Owners -
GM Employee Original Purchase - Complete Documented History
This 1984 Chevrolet C10 Silverado Fleetside is a genuine
low-mileage survivor showing 6,915 miles from new, with two owners
from new and a documentation package that tells the complete story
from day one. The original GM dealer invoice from Hank Graff
Chevrolet in Davison, Michigan is in hand, showing the truck was
built May 10, 1984 and purchased new by a GM employee at employee
pricing - $9,598.30 on an $11,590 MSRP. It has been in Michigan its
entire life, stored in a heated enclosed garage by both owners
without exception.
The first owner, Henry, ordered the truck fully equipped through
the Silverado and Sequoia Special packages and took immediate steps
to preserve it. A factory-matched bed carpet insert was installed
on July 2, 1984 - within weeks of purchase - to protect the bed
floor, and a topper was added the same year. The bed has been
shielded essentially from day one and shows accordingly. Henry also
added non-factory door pockets during his ownership.
Henry kept the truck for seventeen years before selling it in
February 2001. The second owner, Mike, first heard about the truck
through his daughter. When he reached out to Henry, he was
interviewed for over an hour before Henry would even allow him to
see it - Henry was determined to ensure the truck would be properly
cared for. Mike honored that commitment completely, maintaining the
same standard of garage storage and driving it only on perfect
days. Mike replaced the tires during his ownership; they are the
only non-original item on the truck.
The truck presents as a complete, unrestored survivor. The body
shows no evidence of repairs, patches, or bodywork anywhere. Every
power function operates correctly - windows, radio, quartz clock,
and all gauges function as they should. The original GM dealer
accessory litter bag from the original purchase remains with the
truck. The charcoal custom cloth bench interior is original and
presents accordingly for a truck with under 7,000 miles.
The original GM dealer invoice and build sheet are included in the
