This 1986 Mercedes-Benz 560SL is powered by a 5.6-liter SOHC V-8
engine mated to a rebuilt 4-speed automatic transmission. Recent
mechanical service within the last 500 miles includes new brake
pads, shocks, tie rods with alignment, fuel pump and filter,
camshaft chain and tensioner, belts, air conditioning pump,
distributor cap, rotor, spark plug wires and spark plugs, along
with a complete tuneup and battery replacement. A
California-approved catalytic converter has been installed. The car
rides on Michelin Pilot tires. The suspension has been updated with
new shocks and steering components. Braking is handled by
four-wheel disc brakes with recently replaced pads. The exterior
