INTRODUCTION: This is the one! Rotisserie restored, numbers
matching V-code 440 Six Barrel, pistol grip 4-speed, and Super
Track Pak Dana 4.10, finished in factory High Impact FC7 In Violet!
Only 902 built 6 pack, 4-speed coupes were made and this one is
formerly from the prestigious Ted Lindsten Mopar collection.
EXTERIOR: It doesn't get much better than this- a factory FC7 In
Violet Cuda with no vinyl top and a shaker hood! The body was
restored in 2006, and the fact it still looks this good is a true
testament to the quality of the workmanship. It is absolutely
straight, look down either side and you'll see it. The panels are
aligned with precision, and the doors close like a new car. It's
been repainted its factory Violet (FC7) color, laid out beautifully
with a smooth, glossy finish. The chrome and trim have been
restored or replaced, and all the glass has been replaced along
with the weatherstrips. The shaker hood scoop feeds air to those 3
hungry carbs, and it's dressed just right with road lamps, chin
spoilers, a Go-Wing, and hockey stick stripes. It's sitting on
15-inch Rallye wheels wrapped in reproduction Goodyear tires,
giving it an authentic, factory correct stance.
INTERIOR: Let's start with the best part- three pedals and a pistol
grip shifter! Yes, it's been restored to excellent condition
throughout. Down on the floor is a nicely fitted carpet with no
wrinkles, along with the original seat belts. The seats have been
rebuilt with firm cushions and reupholstered, offering great
support. The side panels are in excellent shape. The dash pad has
been professionally restored and it features a full set of Rallye
gauges, including a tachometer, along with a factory AM/FM radio.
The steering wheel has been restored, and the glove box liner has
been replaced. The headliner and visors are in very good condition,
with only a few tiny imperfections.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: This is a very correctly detailed engine bay,
and at its heart is a #s matching 440 rated at 390 horsepower,
topped with the factory Six Barrel setup and Ram Air shaker scoop.
It's all here- the correct carburetors, valve covers, manifolds,
fuel lines, and even properly routed date coded spark plug wires.
It features power steering and power brakes which makes driving
easy. The 3-speed wiper motor has been restored, the washer system
is hooked up, and it has the correct horns. The proper Chrysler
radiator is in place with the correct hoses, clamps, and shroud.
Everything is painted and detailed just as it should be. The hidden
VINs on the core support and cowl match the car, and the fender tag
is in place. This is a highly authentic, well documented engine
compartment done right.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: It's all clean, solid metal, finished in a
glossy purple to match the exterior. Nicely detailed with the
correct sticker, fresh weatherstrip, and proper trunk mat. It's
complete with the jack assembly and a rally wheel spare wrapped in
a vintage redline tire- just the way it should be.
UNDERSIDE: Every component under this car was removed and the body
was mounted on a rotisserie for a thorough restoration. The floors,
braces, and rockers are all pristine metal, finished in the same
glossy In Violet purple as the exterior. The entire suspension and
steering system, front to back, has been completely rebuilt. The
brake system has been fully redone with new lines and cables, the
e-brake is hooked up, and it features front disc brakes. It has a
factory correct dual exhaust system with mufflers and resonators,
exiting cleanly through the valance with square tips. The fuel
system has been replaced and includes a polished tank. Looking up
at the engine, it's spotless and properly detailed with correct
components, casting codes, and the matching VIN stamped by the oil
pan. It is paired to a correct 833 4-speed transmission also with
matching VIN, and a Dana 60 heavy duty rear end with 4.10 Sure Grip
gears. Even the assembly line markings are replicated- this car is
detailed right down to the last inch.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: Since its rotisserie restoration in 2006, it's been
driven just 2,900 miles and carefully preserved by collectors. It's
rare to find this level of quality paired with such a desirable
combination. This is a blue-chip Cuda that would elevate any
serious collection or if you're going to have only one collector
car, this is the one to have!
