INTRODUCTION: This is the real deal- an all steel 1937 Ford, not a
fiberglass replica and it's built with incredible attention to
detail. Sitting on a TCI chassis and powered by a proven GM crate
motor, it's the perfect blend of craftsmanship, comfort, and
reliability. The colors, the stance, and the quality will
absolutely stop people in their tracks. But the best part is this-
you can hop in, turn the key, and drive it anywhere with
confidence.
EXTERIOR: This is an all steel 1937 Ford slantback sedan, even the
fenders are steel. The body is absolutely stunning, laser-straight
from every angle. I did not see any signs of bodywork, cracking, or
bubbling. Everything lines up spot-on, and the doors shut solid
with ease. The black paint is like a literal mirror, you could read
a dictionary in the reflection. It's truly one of the slickest
black finishes you'll see on any car. I really like that it keeps
its nostalgic character with the bumpers, mirrors, V8 gas cap and
trunk handle, and door handles, even a working passenger-side lock
just like the original. Up front are teardrop Ford script
headlights with neatly integrated turn signals, and in back are
original style taillights. The running boards are covered in
correct ribbed rubber. All the glass has been replaced with smoked
glass and a V-butt windshield, along with new gaskets and
weatherstrips. The stance is phenomenal. It's sitting on highly
polished 15-inch Boyd wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich tires, with
extra wide rubber in back for the perfect hot rod look.
INTERIOR: The red interior is absolutely stunning, especially
against the black exterior. It's clearly a professional custom job,
the fit and finish are excellent throughout. Everything is wrapped
in glove soft leather, and it's very comfortable, even for four
adults. It has bucket seats up front, a matching rear seat, and
sculpted upholstered side panels. Down on the floor is beautiful
red carpet, and above is a red cloth headliner that finishes it off
nicely. The dash is done very cleanly, retaining the original 1937
gauges, all in working order, with a more accurate temperature
gauge discreetly hidden in the glove box. It also features original
style knobs for a classic look. Below the dash is a neatly
integrated custom panel housing the air conditioning controls and
stereo. The front windows are power, the rears are manual, and all
four operate just like 1937- they crack back slightly before
rolling down for just the right amount of ventilation. I really
like the banjo style steering wheel with a leather grip mounted on
a tilt column along with the cruise control switches.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Under the hood is exactly what you want in a
hot rod- a GM Performance crate 350 making 300 horsepower. It's not
over the top, it's not complicated- it's simply one of the best,
most proven engines out there. Plenty of power, incredibly
reliable, and built to be driven anywhere with confidence. It's
equipped with an Edelbrock carburetor with electric choke, a
Mallory ignition system, and a set of coated headers. It also
features heat and air conditioning. The cooling system is dialed in
with a fan and shroud, plus dual auxiliary electric fans up front
to keep it running cool. And when we say it's slick under the hood,
we mean it literally, the underside of the hood is painted gloss
black and polished like a mirror too.
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Open the trunk using the original-style V8
handle and you'll be impressed with what's inside. It's been boxed
and beautifully upholstered and has a carpeted floor. Even under
the trunk lid is detailed- painted gloss black with red upholstered
inserts. It's finished just as nicely as the rest of the car. It
also comes with a bra and a car cover.
UNDERSIDE: This is a real '37 Ford, but not underneath! This hot
rod features a completely updated TCI frame and chassis with modern
performance upgrades throughout. Up front, it has an independent
suspension with tubular control arms, coilover adjustable gas
shocks, and power rack-and-pinion steering for precise handling. In
the rear, it's equipped with parallel leaf springs, shocks, and a
splined sway bar for added stability. The custom stainless exhaust
system is fitted with stainless Cherry Bomb style mufflers, giving
it a great sound and clean look. The brake system features front
disc and rear drum brakes, along with a custom e-brake assembly.
All lines have been replaced, and the power brake booster and
master cylinder are neatly mounted underneath. The fuel system
includes a composite tank and new fuel lines installed during the
build. Looking up at the engine, it's very clean and equipped with
a high torque starter, GM part number tag is still visible on the
block. A 700R4 overdrive automatic transmission connects to a
custom driveshaft leading to a Ford 9-inch rear end. The floors are
solid metal, coated in durable chip guard, and the chassis is
smooth, finished in semi-gloss black.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: This car is even better in person than any description
can convey. The colors and overall quality are absolutely stunning.
It has all the right features without going overboard- no gimmicks,
no impractical add ons- just a well built and beautifully executed
hot rod you can truly enjoy!
