FJ40s are very popular and this one has all the right options to
make it a great driver!
Power steering and power front disc brakes have been added from JT
Outfitters to make this Toyota handle and stop better than any
stock version!
Under the hood sits the ultra-reliable 3.9 Liter Inline 6-cylinder
engine with upgrades including HEI distributor, Weber 36/32
carburetor, electric fuel pump, aluminum 3-row radiator, headers
and a full new exhaust system.
That engine is backed by a 3-speed manual transmission, shifted
comfortably while your arm rests on the locking center console.
That center console is not just good for storage, it also hides the
ignition cutoff. Simply turn the key in the console, lock the
console and walk away and no one can steal your FJ. For added
security there is a keyfob that with one click kills all power to
the vehicle.
Outside, savvy eyes will notice the resized rollbar and rear seat
cushions to bring the overall height to a more reasonable number.
The front seats have been replace with Mini Cooper S bucket seats
that are incredibly comfortable and look cool with the plaid
inserts.
Other work performed include: new lock out front hubs, 17" rally
style wheels with radial tires, an S10 fuel tank installed between
rear frame rails with an electric in-tank fuel pump for sure
starts.
This FJ does have a lot of available parts, but they are at the
seller's home and getting them is the responsibility of the buyer.
Those parts include: hardtop with all glass, liftgate with glass,
soft top frame and bows (no canvas), soft fop door frames, hardtop
doors with glass, 4 standard rims, and stock parts that were
removed when upgrades were performed.
