Highlights
History
The second-generation GM “Action Line” pickups (1967–1972) are among the most iconic and collectible GM trucks ever produced, celebrated for their rugged simplicity and timeless design. The GMC K1500 was produced as an “upmarket” version of the Chevrolet K10.
This 1971 K1500 was built at the St. Louis Assembly Plant and spent much of its life in New York State. It underwent a restoration and modification under prior ownership in 2023. In June 2024, it joined a private collection in Ohio, and in April 2025 the current owner acquired it for their private collection in Florida.
The truck holds a clean and clear Florida title in the current owner’s name and is located in Perry, Florida. The five-digit odometer reads approximately 93,141 miles, true mileage is unknown. There are no known mechanical, electrical, structural, or significant cosmetic deficiencies other than the current owner noting a very minor front differential seal weep. A new in box seal is included in the sale.
