This 1992 Ford F150 Supercab XLT is a really nice, really clean OBS
short-bed truck that spent its life in Washington and Oregon. The
last owner dove this truck cross country the last few years to
visit his son in South Carolina. It is a great looking and great
running and driving truck. The body on this truck is clean and
straight. The Oxford White and Bimini Blue Metallic paint is a
really cool color combination and the paint appears to be all
original. It still looks great!! The bed of the truck is also in
great condition and it has an aluminum tool box installed. All of
the original chrome and trim is still nice. The underside of this
truck is really clean and we found no rust issues with this
vehicle.
The interior is also in excellent condition. The seats, carpet,
headliner, door panels, dash, and dash bezel are all in excellent
original condition. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and
turn signals are all working. The gauges all work. This truck has
tilt wheel and working cruise control. It has working power windows
and power locks. The horn and windshield wipers are working and the
heat and AC are also working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great.
The engine is the original 5.0L 302 V8 that runs strong with no
issues or red flags that we found. It appears to be totally stock.
Recent maintenance includes a new alternator, new waterpump, and
new belts. It has the E40D Automatic transmission that shifts
great. It is mated to the Borg Warner manual transfer case and the
4WD works like it should. The rear axle is the Ford 8.8 with 3,55
gears and a factory limited slip. The front axle is the Dana 44 TTB
with 3.55 gears. This is all sittting on a nice set of factory Ford
wheels with like new 31 Inch All Terrain Tires.
