One beautiful 1965 Corvette Convertible ! VERY NICE DRIVER .
Numbers matching engine (327/300) and 4 speed transmission. Only
48,000 original miles!! BOTH TOPS . Disc Brakes . Rebuilt engine.
Recently repainted. Clean TITLE. ==== The mileage is definitely
correct on the car. The engine was rebuilt only because the car sat
for a long time. When it came apart at the engine shop the mechanic
said he felt bad going through the motor because it was so clean.
It didnt need anything so it was really just honing everything out
and cleaning it. The heads were reworked . The original carburetor
was rebuilt. All new gaskets all the way around and new timing
chain, New water pump, all new fluids , all new hoses. New spark
plugs, wires, and cap. New rear main pinion seal . An upgraded
aluminum radiator was installed . All the original stuff has been
saved . ==== All four brakes were replaced ....calipers and pads
and hoses. The emergency brake and everything to do with that is
pretty much new. Transmission was checked . A new clutch was
installed . The gas tank was replaced and everything related was
flushed out. ==== The interior features new front seat covers . the
originals were cracked but they werent really that bad . This Vette
has an AM/FM radio and is a factory power window car. The carpet is
in excellent condition. Even the floor mats in the car still have
the date code on them . ==== The soft top is the original top with
original plexiglass window. The hard top is factory original to the
car. It is in excellent condition. All the trim is really nice. The
glass all date coded. The handles are in excellent condition even
the headliner is in really nice shape. Hard to find these tops in
good shape. Was painted at the same time as the car. ==== The tires
may be original to the car... they are old-school poly glass. It
has the original spare tire in the trunk. It's very likely that it
has never been on the car as it still has the tips (nubs) on the
sidewall. ==== [ClassicCarGuy.com 1-888-762-5570] --- >
