This custom 1952 Chevrolet Sedan Delivery Van underwent a full
body-off restoration and is powered by an upgraded 454ci V-8 engine
mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The replacement
engine is fitted with an Edelbrock Performer 2-O intake and
four-barrel carburetor, along with Edelbrock valve covers and a
matching air-cleaner assembly. The March Performance serpentine
system adds chrome accessories including the alternator,
air-conditioning compressor, power-steering unit and water-pump
components, all driven by a spring-loaded tensioner. Other upgrades
include a 1968 Chevrolet Nova front subframe, Vintage Air climate
control and Dakota Digital gauges. The car is equipped with front
disc brakes, rear drums and a power brake booster. It rides on
American Racing 15-inch Torq Thrust wheels with BFGoodrich Radial
T/A tires, 215/60 in the front and 275/60 in the rear. Inside, it
has gray-cloth front bucket seats and a matching rear bench from a
late-model GM vehicle. Other interior features include custom
carpeting, side panels, a center console with dual cupholders, and
an Alpine CD stereo. The color-matched metal dashboard houses
climate controls and an integrated air vent near the doors. A
custom two-tone headliner and side-panel upholstery extend through
the rear cargo area. The body was separated from the frame and
finished in a two-tone combination of Shimmering Silver Metallic
and Cyber Gray Metallic.
