This 1951 Ford F-1 custom pickup is powered by a rebuilt 239
Flathead V-8 engine equipped with dual two-barrel carburetors, an
Offenhauser aluminum intake and Offenhauser aluminum finned valve
covers, paired with a three-speed manual transmission. Additional
engine components include Red's ceramic-coated headers, Mallory
electronic ignition, high-temp plug wires, a chrome alternator,
upgraded radiator, electric fan and chrome radiator return tubes.
The truck features new stainless dual exhaust from front to back
with stainless mufflers, new engine mounts, new bushings and new
shocks. Braking system updates include new brake lines. The
frame-off nut-and-bolt restoration retains the original solid
floors and frame. Exterior features include deep blue paint,
polished aluminum American Racing wheels, Cooper Cobra tires,
chrome and stainless trim, factory steel running boards, a
functional fresh-air vent and a new wood bed with slats. The custom
Saddle Brown interior includes upgraded analog gauges with a
digital odometer, a RetroSound stereo and Ford floor mats.
Additional features include a 12-volt electrical system conversion,
EZ Wiring harness, dual under-hood-mounted horns and two keys.
