INTRODUCTION: Beauty and a beast! I can't decide if I like the
performance built 429 LS3 better, or the House of Colors Tangelo
Pearl paint. Regardless, the entire build is absolutely gorgeous
and it's only been driven 950 miles since completion. With a custom
chassis, suspension, interior, and engine this car literally has it
all! Over $150,000 invested plus countless amounts of blood, sweat,
and tears to create this stunning and scary fast masterpiece.
EXTERIOR: Head turner! If you don't like attention, I suggest you
pick a different car to buy because this House of Colors Tangelo
Pearl paint glows like the sun and will get compliments everywhere
you drive. It has been neatly applied with great attention to
detail then polished to a slick mirror like finish. Looking down
the side of the laser straight body is satisfying with its crisp
lines and smooth contours. All the panels have been painstakingly
aligned with nice tight consistent gaps throughout. The doors close
easily with minimal effort. All the glass is nice and clear with
fresh rubber seals and fuzzy strips too. The chrome bumpers, plus
remaining bright work all have a glorious shine. The headlights
have been upgraded with halogen units and the front grille is in
great shape. I like that the builder retained the factory style
Nova and Chevy II emblems. The billet aluminum locking gas cap is a
very nice aesthetic and practical touch. It's rolling on a gorgeous
set of RC Comp Impulse aluminum wheels finished in black with
polished accents. They are 17" skinnies in front and 15" fatties
out back to fill in those mini tubs perfectly. The stance is
picturesque with an ideal rake.
INTERIOR: Fresh and fantastic! Sitting in this car is both very
comfortable and sporty. It features TMI seats front and rear, along
with reproduction side panels and armrests. The headliner and dash
pad have been replaced, and there's fresh carpet on the floor. It's
been upgraded with custom touches including HDX gauges, a billet
steering wheel on a tilt column, and a custom center console with a
touchscreen bluetooth infotainment system, cup holders, storage
compartment, and an automatic shifter that resembles a manual. The
sound system is well thought out with speakers in the console and
rear shelf, plus tweeters in the kick panels, and a hidden antenna
for a clean look.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: Serious modern muscle! It's powered by a Texas
Speed LS3, stroked and punched out to 429 cubic inches (7.1L) with
a fully forged bottom end including a Callies crank, Callies rods,
Wiseco pistons, heavy-duty wrist pins, and studded LS3 heads that
have been CNC ported and polished. A hotter cam brings it all
together for impressive performance that will rattle your soul. Up
top, it features a fabricated intake with a drive-by-wire throttle
body, and it exhales through MagnaFlow stainless headers. It's
dressed to impress with Billet Specialties covers and a CVF front
runner system with billet brackets, pulleys, and serpentine setup,
along with a polished mini A/C compressor, chrome alternator, and
modern power steering. The power plant stays cool with a large
aluminum radiator, dual electric fans, polished overflow bottle,
and premium hose fittings. The engine bay itself has been fully
refinished with smooth inner fenders and firewall-to-frame tubular
supports for added rigidity. Everything is neatly installed and
show quality throughout. Built to perform and look incredible doing
it!
TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Fully finished! The underside of the trunk lid
and inside the jamb are painted slick just like the body. The
weather strip has been replaced. Inside is nicely boxed and
carpeted. The panels are easily removable for quick access. An
Optima red top gel battery is concealed and properly secured behind
the back panel. Under the carpet is all rust free clean steel that
has a durable spatter finish paint.
UNDERSIDE: Highly upgraded! Up front it features a TCI "show
quality" suspension system with polished stainless tubular upper
and lower control arms, along with polished adjustable coilover gas
shocks. It also includes a swaybar, 2-inch drop spindles plus rack
& pinion steering for modern handling and control. Out back, it's
equipped with a heavy-duty TCI 4-link rear suspension, one of the
strongest setups available. It is further reinforced with subframe
connectors and a driveshaft loop. It features polished stainless
tubular control arms, a panhard bar, and fully adjustable link bars
with coilover shocks. Stopping power comes from disc brakes at all
four wheels, along with a custom e-brake assembly. It has a fat
exhaust with X-Pipe and polished stainless mufflers and turn down
tips before the rear end. The fuel system was replaced including
the tank and it is compatible with the fuel injection system.
Looking up at the motor it is all aluminum and has a high torque
starter. The transmission is a 4L65E overdrive automatic built to
handle the horsepower, it stays cool with a remote oil cooler and
fan. The power gets transferred to a heavy duty 9 inch rear with
posi gears. The floors are clean metal and it has Detroit Speed
mini tubs allowing for the wide rear rubber.
SERVICE: We take pride in our cars and reputation. Therefore, we
built a 2 million dollar, 10,000 square ft service center, and
hired a team of technicians to service the essentials on every car
we sell.
CONCLUSION: This one's totally hot! Why spend more money and time
to build one when you can have this turnkey ground pounder right
now? Just get in, mash the gas, and blast off into the sunset!
