For Sale: 1932 Ford Roadster in Apopka, Florida

Vehicle Description

You are viewing a 1932 Ford Roadster. Titled as a 1932 Ford with clean Florida Title. A California built Street Rod by builder Art Engle.   I will start by saying I have been dealing with Hot rods for over 30 years.  I can easily say this is the nicest one I have owned!  The Build, Components, Paint, Interior and most important, the way it Drives and Handles. Overall, show quality and a very high end build.

The body is a Harwood 2” stretched body and 2” (angle) channel at windshield. In my opinion, the Harwood ‘32 is the Cadillac of fiberglass deuce bodies. Harwood has stopped manufacturing these and they are getting harder and harder to find. These bodies are stamp steel reinforced and have fantastic door and deck lid alignments. They also used Kevlar in their body construction. I am 6 foot 1 and have plenty of room. Paint used is a House of Kolor Solar Gold Metallic.

Going hoodless lets the Deuce show off the engine-turned aluminum firewall panel and the detailed1964 Chevy 283 sitting in front of it. Victory Machine in San Jose machined and assembled the 1964 283 long-block. A Winters "snowflake" aluminum intake from an early Corvette is topped with dual Edelbrock 4V carbs. Cutouts from the chrome Lakester Headers direct the exhaust down to 2-1/2-inch nickel-plated pipes, with MagnaFlow mufflers sweetening the exhaust note. Starts right up every time and the Isky Cam sounds unbelievable!

Chrome-plated 15″ Rocket Strike wheels are wrapped in 215/70/15 front and 255/R70/15 rear BF Goodrich Silvertown Radials with 4″ whitewall tires. Stopping power is provided by 11″ Wilwood disc brakes up front and 11″ Ford drums in the rear. The suspension features a four-inch drop I-beam, ’37 Ford spindles, a split wishbone, a So-Cal Speed Shop front leaf spring, and Pete & Jake’s Viper adjustable rear coilovers.

As you'd expect, the quality of the outside carries over to the inside. Bone-white diamond tuck vinyl with Gold Piping on the bench seat is the right match for the rest of the 1932, both in terms of period styling and bright appearance.   Stewart-Warner gauges are the only additions to the fiberglass dash. A Dixco tach was mounted on the steering column.

The removable Top is a Sid Chavers Bop Top and is finished in a stunning Pearl White Vinyl.

This 32 has won MANY shows and was featured in Street Rodder magazine in May 1014.   A brand new issue of that magazine will go to the new owner.

Please study all the pictures and video as there is simply way to much to list here.   Contact me with any questions.
