This custom 1972 Dodge Demon is powered by a Ray Barton-built 426ci
Hellcat V-8 engine. It features a custom-ground Comp Cam, Thitek
ported heads, Metco 2.65-inch upper pulley, all-Metco idler
pulleys, ATI Racing lower pulley, Mancini racing headers and tuned
with HP tuners. The engine is mated to a Southern Hotrod War Viking
Max eight-speed automatic transmission with ProTorque converter and
a 3600 stall. Underneath the front suspension sits an AlterKtion
coilover system with Ridetech adjustable coilover shocks. It also
features Lynx rear suspension, axle housing and center section in
the rear. The car rides on Triumph forged three-piece wheels.
Inside, the seats were removed and replaced with four low-back
racing seats from TMI. This one-year build was completed in October
2024 by Jeremy Bumpus of the Hot Rod Shop in Corinth, MS, known
from "Car Fix" on MotorTrend TV.
