Vehicle Description

Known as "Blue My Mind," this custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is the ultimate Pro-Touring muscle car with a one-of-a-kind design. As the original VIN number indicates, this car was originally built in Norwood, Ohio, as a 1969 Camaro coupe with an eight-cylinder engine. It is the product of a show-quality restoration utilizing high-quality parts throughout. The custom body modifications include a cowl-induction hood with vents from a Shelby GT500 Super Snake, Kindig-It Design recessed door handles, 3-inch extended rocker panels and molded rear spoiler with quarter extensions, both with 10-gauge steel. It was finished in the gorgeous color of Corvette Laguna Blue, which is also called Blue My Mind. Other exterior features include all-new glass, Detroit Speed electric headlight covers, Vision VF4 slanted oval mirrors, Anvil tucked front bumper, Fesler LED taillights, recessed billet gas cap, tucked rear bumper, molded license plate on lower valance and brushed trim. It has a great stance on custom Bonspeed brushed wheels that are 18x10 on the front and 18x12 on the rear. The wheels are mounted to new Toyo Proxes R888R Competition Street Legal tires. The rear was outfitted with Detroit Speed mini-tubs to accommodate the massive 335-30-18 rear tires. The custom interior was hand-stitched with black leather and blue accents. Some of the interior features include a Detroit Speed four-point roll cage, Flaming River keyless start, a Classic Instruments aluminum dash panel, AutoMeter Phantom gauges, Vintage Air climate control, Fesler armrests, Clayton Machine hardware, Flaming River tilt steering column, Momo Racing Quark steering wheel, Procar bucket seats, full console with storage, billet shifter and German velour carpeting. The sound system consists of a Kenwood head unit, two Kicker amplifiers, two Kicker 5.25 front speakers and two Kicker 6x9 speakers. The boxed and carpeted trunk compartment is home to the Optima Red Top battery. The hood pivots on Ringbrothers aluminum hinges. The firewall was smoothed and the Rain Wiper motor was relocated under the cowl panel. The engine bay was dressed with Van Natta Fabrication inner fenders and radiator support panel. It's powered by a GM Performance 376ci LS3 V-8 crate engine rated with 525hp. It utilizes a GM computer system with American Auto Wiring. The engine was dressed with a color-matched AVS Motorsports Speedcover with billet appointments, custom color-matched air intake, Drive Junky billet accessory drive system, Mishimoto oil separator, Mast Motorsports oil pan, Powermaster alternator and MSD starter. The engine is cooled by a custom DeWitts Direct-Fit aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine is coupled to a Tremec T56 six-speed close-ratio manual transmission supplied by Bowler. It's equipped with a Quick Time bellhousing, Spicer U-joints and LS7 clutch, flywheel and pressure plate.
