This exciting 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback is the ultimate custom nostalgic build for the Shelby enthusiast. It was restored with many modern features without sacrificing the styling of an original 1967 Shelby GT500. As the original VIN number and Marti Auto Works Deluxe Mart Report indicates this example was built as an authentic 1967 Mustang Fastback on February 27th 1967 in San Jose, California. It was the product of a show quality restoration which is documented with receipts that are included. The straight body was professionally decorated with Shelby styled appointments. It was refinished in the iconic Shelby colors of Wimbledon White with blue stripes. It was outfitted an NOS Shelby gas cap and NOS 1968 Shelby tail lights. It rolls on custom 18” Forgeline Motorsports HL3-X wheels that reassemble the original GT40 styled wheels. The 3-piece forged wheels are mounted to new Firestone Firehawk Indy 500V2 tires. The exterior is complemented with a new two-tone blue interior that was upholstered by Seamless Custom in Leicester, MA. The Shelby Cobra embossed bucket seats have custom brackets to accommodate larger occupants. Some of the interior features including Dynamat insulation, Tony Branda GT500 styled roll bar with shoulder belts, blue LED lighting, billet door sills and strikers, Dakota Digital HDX gauges, Ididit tilt steering column, 3-spoke wood steering wheel, Vintage Air Conditioning, power window utilizing OEM cranks, Hurst shifter with leather boot, Mercedes-Benz carpeting and two sets of molded floor mats. The sound system consists of a Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and Hertz speakers throughout. The carpeted trunk compartment is home to the new Optima red top battery. The Shelby styled louvered hood and rear deck lid pivot on Ring Brothers billet aluminum hinges. It's also equipped with custom billet strut tower braces. The car is powered by a fuel-injected Carroll Shelby Engine Company Aluminum 427 FE; 511ci (650HP) V8. This engine is currently advertised on Carroll Shelby Engine Company's website for $45,581.99 which doesn't include the Holley HP Electronic Fuel Injection system. The engine was setup with a March Performance Pro-Track serpentine system, Mechman billet 200 amp alternator, polished AC compressor and billet power steering pump. The engine is cooled by a Griffin aluminum radiator with dual SPAL electric fans. The engine breathes through JBL long-tube headers and stainless exhaust system with Dynomax mufflers. The engine is coupled to a Tremec TKX 5-speed manual transmission along with a MDL billet flywheel, Quick-Time bell housing, MDL hydraulic clutch master and McLeod twin disc clutch. The power is transferred to the Currie Enterprises 9” rear end housing with Detriot TruTrac limited slip differential and Strange gears and aluminum support. It has a Rick's stainless steel 20 gallon fuel tank. The TCP chassis G-connector system, Ultimate Pro Touring front suspension and G-link rear suspension with adjustable coil overs provide excellent handling. The power electric Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes with drilled and slotted rotors provide excellent stopping power. This vehicle has been completely serviced and detailed which is documented with an invoice. From the MS CLASSIC CARS Collection.
